About
Kylar Kuzio is a singer-songwriter based out of Fond du Lac, WI. Born in West Virginia and raised between Ohio & Wisconsin, her love of music stretches about as wide as the states she has lived across.
She began playing fiddle at age 10 and eventually began singing for a guitar student of the same teacher. Once she got on stage, she realized she didn't want to rely on another person to accompany her to be able to perform or write her own songs so she asked her dad, Paul Kuzio, to teach her some chords on the guitar.
Kylar wrote her first song, "Designer Shoes" as a homework assignment for English class. Mr. Gary Frisch at Jack Young Middle School included music week as part of his curriculum where the students learned about various genres of music and had to write their own song by the end of the week.
Since then, Kylar has continued writing songs and incorporates them into her live shows alongside new and old songs of many genres. From Tyler Childers to Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran to The Cranberries, Kylar plays music for old souls and young folk alike. She particularly loves when she can introduce an audience member to what may be their new favorite song or artist.
